Air are on an exciting growth journey and are working hard to scale to the next level. In their first 4 years, after launching in 2016, the Group’s revenue grew to more than £2million with its team growing to more than 55 people.

In 2018 their ever-growing client base were often looking for other marketing services that could be provided to them within the Group. Sensing a fantastic opportunity to help their clients with the full marketing and sales demand generation process, Roots to Market, their new sister company, was created.

Planning for the next stage of growth, Air has undergone a brand re-fresh, after having significantly outgrown their start-up look over the past 4 years. They’re also working on building a new custom-CRM, to further advance the abilities of their current custom-CRM improving the experience further for their client base.

Air set-up in Exeter after their Founder & CEO, Owen Richards, moved back to the UK from Australia having worked as General Manager for sister company, Forrest Marketing Group.

“I saw the work life balance that was available; having the coast, the city centre and the moors all accessible and thought that Exeter was the place to be. Whilst still being accessible for our clients whether they visit us by car, train or via the airport, Exeter gives us a great story to tell. We bring clients to the city, from far and wide and we are dedicated to being involved in shouting about what the city has to offer.” – Owen Richards

It is for that reason that they chose to partner with us and become early adaptors of the Council’s ‘Exeter Live Better’ initiative – a campaign which seeks to highlight what a great lifestyle the city offers and show it to be “the brilliant alternative” to the ‘big smoke’.

Air don’t believe they could have had the success they’ve had in any other city in the UK. Because of this they are giving back to the local Exeter economy and community. The biggest single impact that they have had is on the job market in Exeter. Their fast growth has seen them employ more staff in the last 4 years than they could have imagined, with almost 60 jobs being created and having an incredibly positive effect on the Exeter economy.
